Lil Wayne accuses Birdman of also scamming Drake, Nicki Minaj and Tyga
Rapper Lil Wayne has accused Birdman of also ripping off Drake, Nicki Minaj and Tyga In his bitter lawsuit.
TMZ claims Lil Wayne made the allegations in new legal documents filed against hi adopted father.
According to Lil Wayne, he has documents from Drake and Tyga's reps backing up his claims. Also, Nicki's people have in a separate letter allegedlh claimed her producers were shortchanged by Lil Wayne's even though Wayne insists it's Cash Money's responsibility to pay producers.
It is worthy of note that Lil Wayne runs Young Money, whose stable of artists include Drake, Nicki and Tyga. While Cash Money which is the parent company is run by Birdman.
In the suit, Young Money clams it was supposed to get a big chunk of a $100 million advance from Universal. This advance reportedly went directly to Cash Money.
But Cash Money reps in their defence claim the allegations are baseless as Young Money got an advance of $20 million in 2012, and another $12 million for Wayne's solo album then another $70 million in advances, royalties, marketing and recording costs for various Young Money artists.
Bird man's Cash Money also claims Young Money was supposed to deliver 21 albums in 7 years for their artists but have delivered only 13 till date.
