OJUELEGBA INT'L REMIX: It all happened with a DM - Wizkid

Wizkid explains how his international Ojuelegba remix featuring Drake and Skepta all came about

Nigerian afro pop artiste Wizkid has disclosed Drake's commitment to recording Ojuelegba remix which also featured London's Skepta, was stellar.

The Starboy honcho whose 'Ojuelegba' single has been garnering quite a lot of international appeal in recent times added that the arrangement with Drake all started in the DMs.

While speaking with Empire FM in Ghana, Wizkid explained that a series of messages between him and Drake on Instagram brought forth the remix.

He explained: 

"I was there and saw that Drake followed me on Instagram so I DMed him and I was like ‘Yoh, I’m a big fan of your music and he was like I like your music as well’. So we started talking and we talked about hooking up in London, so I went to London the next day and when I got there, I saw that he had already done his verse to the song, it was just funny mehn!"

Wizkid is expected to drop his EP in a few days with his anticipated third studio album - which has a lot of international colloborations - pushed to next year.
