Good and simple question, I've certainly seen lots of cakes specially baked in different styles, shapes and design but not as creative and uniquely baked  as these shown here; Courtesy of #Firstlady Couture Intl. When distinguishing between wedding cakes and birthday cakes it doesn't matter about the flavour or how many tiers used. I feel what makes a wedding cake special is it significance. 

For the rest of your life, cake baked as good as wedding cake would be done with a lot of thoughts and considerations. You'll only have one wedding cake for the rest of your life, but birthday cake every year.
